Reduced Stress Processing
The process of treating workpieces to cryogenic temperatures below -300 °F. Vacu Braze uses cryogenic treatments to reduce stresses and improve the wear resistance of your parts. In addition, this process results in less residual stress, decreased risk of cracking, and less stress during machining. This process also results in less retained austenite, which can cause cracking, distortion, and internal stress if not properly removed.
